Prepare Your Home for successful Bed Bug Eradication
Proper preparation is the most critical factor in eliminating bed bugs; please follow these mandatory steps to ensure your Tallahassee home is ready for professional treatment.
Laundering & Fabrics

Strip All Beds: Remove all sheets, pillowcases, and blankets. Place them directly into plastic bags before transporting them to the laundry.

High-Heat Wash: Launder all bedding, clothing, and curtains in the hottest water allowable and dry on the highest heat setting for at least 30-40 minutes.

Seal Clean Items: Once dry, place all clean items in new, unused plastic bags and tie them closed until treatment is complete.
Furniture & Clutter

Clear All Floors: Remove all items from under beds and on floors, including shoes, toys, and cardboard boxes.

Empty Closets & Drawers: Completely empty all bedroom closets, dressers, and nightstands so the interiors can be treated.

Sanitation & Safety

Wall Hangings: Remove all pictures, mirrors, and outlet covers from the walls so they can be inspected and treated.

Evacuation: All people and pets (including fish and reptiles) must vacate the premises for at least 4 hours following treatment.
